Glen E. Reed is the president and owner of Reliable Pumps Consultants, Inc., which he started in 1986. Reliable Pumps Consultants, Inc. manufactures and produces a wide range of quality high pressure pumps and is one of the largest rental fleets in the Gulf Coast area. Prior to his current position, he was a plant supervisor for a major manufacturing pump company, which inspired him to become a business owner.

Raised in Monroe, Louisiana, Glen now lives with his wife in Texas. Glen was honored with the Blue Chip award for small businesses and was the first to design, patent and offer the 10-20 high pressure combo units. Glen has been an ongoing participant of the Offshore Technology Conference for the past 8 years and is also a member of the WaterJet Technology Association.

Through the years, Glen’s experiences in the pump industry both as an employee and employer have helped him start and maintain a successful business for over 23 years.
